ARS Key Sponsor and Presenter at Oxidation and Reduction Conference
On June 26 - 29, 2001 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, the First International Conference on Oxidation and Reduction occurred. The focus of the conference brought together representatives in the field of insitu application of chemicals to treat soil and groundwater contamination and to provide a forum for firms associated with these developing remediation technologies. ARS as a leader of insitu chemical reduction and oxidation was proud to be a sponsor of this inaugural event. Dr. John Haselow, as an advisory board member, chaired a technical session and Mr. Steve Chen delivered a paper titled “An Innovative Approach to the Emplacement of Zero-Valent Iron and other Materials for the Treatment of Chlorinated Volatile Organic Compounds.” The paper discussed ARS’ innovative injection and delivery techniques and their benefits in applying insitu chemical oxidants and other materials.
ARS' services stood apart from all the other firms at the conference as we offer both process design and delivery/injection services of oxidation and reduction technologies.
